This may be a Smart ID Card (front and back), a Green Barcoded ID Book, or a valid temporary identity document. Applicants must also submit proof of residential address dated within the last three months. Accepted documents include a utility bill, bank statement, or a current lease or rental agreement that clearly reflects the applicant’s name and residential address. In addition, finance institutions require three months’ bank statements, three months’ payslips, and a valid driver’s licence (front and back).
Foreign Nationals
At CMH Foton Randburg, we also assist foreign nationals seeking vehicle finance. Required documentation includes a valid passport, a valid work permit, and where applicable, a valid asylum seeker or refugee permit. Proof of address not older than three months must also be provided, together with three months’ bank statements, three months’ payslips, and a valid driver’s licence. Ensuring these documents are up to date can help streamline the approval process.
Self-Employed Applicants
Self-employed applicants are welcome to apply for vehicle finance through CMH Foton Randburg. Along with standard identification and proof of address requirements, self-employed individuals will be required to provide six months’ bank statements. This assists finance providers in evaluating business income and affordability more accurately.
